Julie Daves is Sr. VP, Clinical Development Operations at DiaMedica Therapeutics, Inc.  She has almost 20 years of experience in both the operational and outsourcing aspects of clinical development.  Julie has an MSHS from The George Washington University School of Medicine & Health Sciences.  She began her career as a hands-on CRA and has worked operationally managing studies and programs in almost 40 countries in roles at CROs and pharmaceutical companies.  In the last 10 years, she has been a leader focused on building strong partnerships between vendors and sponsors, and has been responsible for contractual and quality oversight leadership for hundreds of vendors in widely varying therapeutic areas, including oncology.  She has also consulted for small biotech and big pharma, forming and managing vendor-pharma contracts with values upwards of $100M USD.  Julie is passionate about optimizing vendor-sponsor relationships, because by doing so, drugs ultimately get to the patients who need them faster and less expensively
